The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be streamed live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to promote next month's bout.
Ex two-time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I will break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will genuinely try to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of these statements, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.
Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
However, the novice continues to be one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers met for the traditional stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is actually happening.
